The link below will take you to Cobb County's viewer that will let you calculate what your stormwater fee will be. Keep in mind, the fee is calculated differently whether you were an individual individually, paying resident or a commercial facility. Here's how it works
Fee
Residential:
The approved fee is $4.75 for each equivalent residential unit (ERU), which is based on 3,700 square feet of impervious surface, representing the median residential use in Unincorporated Cobb County and Mableton. All residential properties will be charged $4.75 per month beginning June 1, 2026.
Non-Residential:
Charges for non-residential properties will be based on the actual area of impervious surface divided by 3,700 to determine the number of ERU's, which is then multiplied by the $4.75 base rate. Non-residential Example: 20,000ft² of impervious/3,700 ft² x $4.75=$25.68 per month.

A stormwater credit is a conditional reduction in your monthly stormwater service fee, granted when your property meets specific technical standards for managing runoff.
Properties with detention ponds, drainage systems, or stormwater BMPs that meet current Georgia Stormwater Management Manual requirements and Cobb County Development Standards may qualify.
Most properties can receive up to 40% reduction in stormwater fees, with some qualifying for up to 50% when exceeding county standards.
Applications require engineering analysis, as-built surveys, maintenance records, and hydrology reports prepared by a Georgia Professional Engineer to verify compliance with technical standards.
We handle the entire process: property evaluation, infrastructure review, documentation preparation, county submission, and ongoing compliance support to maximize your credit approval.
